Introduction to AEIS Exam
The AEIS exam is an entrance examination for international students to enter government primary and secondary schools launched by the Ministry of Education of Singapore. Students who pass are uniformly assigned to the Singapore government primary and secondary schools by the Ministry of Education.

考试介绍
*2022年下半年开始，AEIS将不再组织小学入学英语考试。如果想要参加今年的AEIS考试，必须在报考的前十二个月内考取CEQ考试，并且要达到或者超过CEQ的考试标准-即CES成绩，Cambridge English Scale，成绩标准参考下列表格。预报名今年七月份报名AEIS小学数学考试（AEIS Primary Math Test）的同学需要提交CEQ考试成绩证书。（信息来源MOE官网）

CEQ英语考试和AEIS数学考试。用于评估孩子英文的听、说、读、写能力，以及数学的计算能力和推理能力。 两门考试均以英语进行，并且针对不同的年龄有不同的成绩要求，如下：

Application grade: Elementary school 2/3

无法申请报考小学五年级。
申请上一年度入读小五的不成功的AEIS申请人，只可重新申请参加小四的S-AEIS课程。学生可以在提交S-AEIS小学在线申请日期之前的12个月内提交B1初级学校考试的CES成绩。
CEQ考试目标和格式：
A2 Key for Schools
了解并使用基本英语短语和表达／理解简单的书面英语／会自我介绍并回答关于自己的基本问题／能够和讲英语的人进行基本交流互动
Paper 1 Reading and Writing 读写
考生需要通过阅读长文、或简短文本回答问题。掌握基础语法。
考试题型：阅读和写作部分包含了多项选择、完形填空、多选完型、指导写作和看图写故事等题型。
考试占比：50%
考试时长：60分钟
Paper 2
Listening 听力
考生需要通过听一段或者多段录音（对话或公告等）回答问题，每段录音会播放两次。
考试题型：听力部分包含了多项选择、填空匹配等题型。
考试占比：25%
考试时长：30分钟
Paper 3
Speaking 口语
考生将与另一位考生一起，根据考官提出的问题和讨论主题（根据图片），考察学生的口语能力。
考试方式：口语部分包含回答问题，图片描述、讨论和提问等方式。
考试占比：25%
考试时长：8-10分钟

可以阅读英语书籍和杂志／书写任何话题的英语书信和邮件／了解已经发生的新闻信息／能够在口语和书面英语中正确表达自己的观点和想法
Paper 1 Reading 阅读
考生需要通过阅读长文、或简短文本回答问题。掌握基础语法。
考试题型：阅读和写作部分包含了多项选择、完形填空、多选完型、指导写作和看图写故事等题型。
考试占比：50%
考试时长：60分钟
Paper 3 Listening 听力

报名及考试时间：
CEQ考试每个月均可报名并参加考试，考位先到先得。CEQ成绩公布时间约为考试后八个星期，为确保及时提交CEQ成绩，不影响AEIS数学考试的报名，建议大家尽早报名参加CEQ考试，避免额满没有考试位置。拿到CEQ成绩并符合要求的学生请在规定时间内尽早报名AEIS数学考试，额满便会关闭考试报名通道。
AEIS数学报名时间在每年的7月份到8月份之间。S-AEIS考试报名时间在12月到第二年的1月份之间。
AEIS数学考试时间大约在每年9至10月之间。S-AEIS考试时间大约在2月底至3月之间。

Exam introduction
The AEIS exam is an entrance examination for international students to enter government primary and secondary schools launched by the Ministry of Education of Singapore. Students who pass are uniformly assigned to the Singapore government primary and secondary schools by the Ministry of Education. Students who pass the exam will be admitted in January of the second year. If the student fails to pass the AEIS exam that year, they can also register for the S-AEIS exam in February of the following year. Students who pass the exam will be transferred to the school in June of the following year. Therefore, international students who want to enter Singapore government primary and secondary schools have twice a year to take exams.
Examination Content:
English and mathematics. AEIS and S-AEIS are intensive tests of English and mathematics to assess your child's English literacy, numeracy and reasoning skills. They are conducted in English and have different tests for different education levels.
Registration and examination time:
The registration time for the AEIS exam is between July and August each year. The registration time for the S-AEIS exam is between December and January of the following year.
The AEIS exam time is approximately between September and October each year. The S-AEIS exam time is approximately between the end of February and March.
Age conditions:
International students who are between 7 and 16 years old on January 1st of the enrollment year can register.
1st grade of middle school
Age conditions: 12 to 14 years old and above
Application grade: Middle School 1
Exam content: Elementary school 6
Admission result: middle school 1, unsuccessful
2nd grade of middle school
Age conditions: 13 to 15 years old and above
Application grade: Middle School 2
Exam content: Middle School 1
Admission result: secondary school 2, unsuccessful
3rd grade of middle school
Age conditions: 14 to 16 years old and above
Application grade: Middle School 3
Exam content: middle school 2
Admission result: middle school 3, unsuccessful
